# Governance Model

The following Glacis Management functions are only permitted to the Glacis owner account:

* Router
  * Register/unregister adapters
  * Set Glacis Ids for adapter's internal chain Id
* Adapters
  * Add and Remove authorized remote adapters

There is no official plan for a Glacis DAO to replace owner functionality.
